In my program, assistant coaches are far more than just support on the bench They are co-builders of the culture we are creating. I expect every assistant coach to value the same pillars that define the program we are building. Those pillars are: Toughness, Relentlessness, Accountability, and Unselfishness.
I value assistant coaches who are energetic and who put the team first They must be committed to player development, both on and off the court, and willing to invest the time it takes to help athletes grow.

I also strongly believe that our Junior High coaches are assistant coaches. Our program is built from grades 7–12, and every coach at every level plays a vital role in shaping the foundation of who we are. We want to create a unified culture and one standard.
When the coaching staff is aligned, the program thrives. I look for coaches and people who row the boat with us, no matter what seat they’re in.
